Description : UNRWA receives bulk quantities of basic commodities, medical items, and general supplies; through different Israeli terminals/Ports including Ashdod and Haifa. These commodities which usually arrive in 20ft or 40ft containers and LCL shipment need to be inspected, cleared by customs authorities before being offloaded, palletized and transported into UNRWA`s rented warehouses at Ashdod port before dispatching them to the final destination which is the Gaza strip. The Contractor is required to provide UNRWA with the required services in a timely manner to enable it to run its relief and logistical operations.
