The United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD), on behalf of the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS), is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified vendors for the provision of personnel for high-risk environments related to mine action, explosive ordnance disposal and explosiveordnance risk mitigations operations listed below.The contract, with an expected duration of three (3) years plus two (2) optional extension periods of one (1) year each, may include, but is not limited to, provision of high-risk labor (HRL) to locations such as South Sudan, Syria, Abyei, CentralAfrican Republic, Libya, Lebanon, Western Sahara, Democratic Republic of Congo, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Ethiopia. This initiative also aims to inform interested parties about the forthcoming formal procurement process, known as the Request for Proposals (RFP), for the provision of theseservices.
