1. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Regional Office for Eastern Africa (UNODC ROEA) hereby solicits Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified companies to provide feasibility study for the installation biogassystem in two probation hostels in Kenya.2. The feasibility study shall include but not limited to:•Assess the suitability of the site for biogas production, considering factors like feedstock availability, land availability, climate, and existing and required infrastructure.•Evaluate the costs associated with the biogas system (e.g., costs of materials, installation, operation, maintenance) and the potential revenues from biogas and digestate (fertilizer).•Assess the potential environmental impacts of the biogas system, including greenhouse gas emissions, waste management, and water usage. •Examine the social acceptability of the biogas system, considering neighboring community needs, public health, and potential social benefits3. Specific tasks to be performed by the service provider include technical assessmenr, economic analysis, environmental impact assessment, social impact assessment and risk assessment. 4. Interested bidders must meet the following conditions: a. The institution should have 5 years of experience in providing green energy/biogas services and successful delivery of these services b.
