The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (“ESCAP”) is seekingExpressions of Interest (EOI), from qualified companies, for the provision of catering and banqueting services, including management and operation of relevant facilities at ESCAP premises located on Rajadamnern Nok Avenue, Bangkok, Thailand (“ESCAP Premises”). Introduction: ESCAP premises comprise two office buildings—the Secretariat Building and the Service Building—and one conference centre. The United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) is among the largest convention facilities in Asia and provides comprehensive conference services to UN agencies, funds, and programmes, as well as external clients. UNCC hosts an average of more than 3, 000 meetings annually.Scope of Services: The selected contractor will be responsible for the provision of catering and banqueting services, including management and operation of relevant facilities at ESCAP premises, as outlined below:1. Banqueting for the meeting events at the UNCC: Provision of full banqueting services for conferences, meetings, and events held at the UNCC throughout the year, which would include a variety of options of coffee breaks, lunches, and receptions. Banqueting operations are supported by a fully-functional banqueting kitchen located on the ground floor of the UNCC building, with a total area of 205 square metres.2.
