The object of the acquisition is a provincial veterinary emergency service for pets in accordance with the Veterinary Care Act (285/2023 § 9 and § 10). At the time of signing the contract, the service covers the following municipalities in the environmental healthcare cooperation areas: 1. Jyväskylä city (Hankasalmi, Joutsa, Jyväskylä, Luhanka, Multia, Muurame, Petäjävesi, Toivakka, Uurainen, Äänekoski) 2. City of Keuruu (Jämsä, Keuruu, Kuhmoinen, Mänttä-Vilppula, Ruovesi, Virrat) 3. Laukaa municipality (Konnevesi, Laukaa) 4. Northern Central Finland environmental services (Kannonkoski, Karstula, Kinnula, Kivijärvi, Kyyjärvi, Saarijärvi, Viitasaari, Pihtipudas).
