Established in 1998, MSIY is focused on providing high-quality reproductive health (RH) care through a broad service package including voluntary comprehensive family planning (FP) and RH care; maternal and child health care including safe delivery, obstetric ante and post-natal care (ANC/ PNC); diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections; as well as other communicable diseases and general healthcare.
About the “Increasing Access to Quality Family Planning and Reproductive Health for Women and Youth in Yemen” project.
Access to high quality reproductive health services and information is core to this project where MSIY seek to increase access to reproductive health services, broaden choice for women and families seeking care, and raise awareness about the positive impacts of planning healthy families. MSIY does this through a network of clinics; provision of technical and quality support to private midwives and public sector healthcare professionals; and a specialised reproductive health contact centre.
