The Ministry of Health and Wellness has sought to procure Medical Equipment for the Eye Care Programme due to the separation of the Cuban Medical Brigade. The Eye Care Programme has been significantly impacted upon their departure. The Cuban team removed the equipment that was being used to support the programme thereby disrupting service delivery. The team is however conducting post operative care along with retina consultation and treatment.
