Work shoes The city of Salo (hereinafter the procurement unit / customer) requests bids for the procurement of personal protective equipment, protective clothing and footwear in accordance with this request for bids and its appendices. The subject of procurement are personal protective equipment, protective clothing, safety footwear and other footwear mainly for the use of catering and sanitation services. The object of the procurement is described in more detail in this request for tender. Protective clothing refers to clothing that protect the user from dirt, changing thermal conditions and occupational safety risks. Protective clothing has specific product-specific needs related to, for example, visible warning requirements and thermal conditions. Safety footwear means footwear, which protect the user from injuries to the feet and from slipping. Personal protective equipment refers to tools, equipment and clothing that protect against accidents or illness at work. The procurement contract period is two years, i.e. for years 2026-2027. In addition, the customer reserves the possibility of extending the contract on the original terms for two one-year option periods for the years 2028 and 2029. The option refers to the possibility of extending the contract on the original terms. The customer decides on the use and duration of the option separately. The procurement will be carried out as a framework arrangement, the operating model of which is described in the Contract Procedure section of the request for tenders.
