Specific Procurement Notice are Invited For Procurement of Operational Service Improvement Equipment for 22 town

Lot I: Water meters and bulk water meters

Lot II: Leak detection equipment, welding machines, and water testing bench
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500.00 (ETB Five Hundred only) or US$ 15.00 (US$ fifteen Only). The method of payment will be direct deposit at National Bank of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, Account name: WDC-Second Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project, Account No: 0100151040390, or direct cash payment to counter cashier at the Water Development Commission
Bid document price: 500.00 (ETB Five Hundred only) or US$ 15.00 (US$ fifteen Only).
Bidders shall furnish documentary evidence that it meets the following requirement(s);

Must have successfully completed the supply and delivery of at least 2 (two) contracts of similar nature and complexity during the last 5 (Five Years) having a value of each at least US$ 6.2 Million (US$ Six Million Two Hundred Thousand) per contract for Lot I and each of at least US$ 3.2 million (USD Three Million Two Hundred Thousand) per contract for Lot II.

Audited financial statements of the bidder for the last 5 (Five) years to confirm a minimum average annual turnover of US$ 9, 300, 000 (US$ Nine Million Three Hundred Thousand) for Lot I and US$ 4, 800, 000 (US$ Four Million Eight Hundred Thousand)) for lot II, calculated as the average of total certified payments received for contracts in progress and/or completed within the last five years. Bidder quoting for more than one lot shall meet the cumulative requirements of the respective lots.

The bidder shall demonstrate that it has access to, or has available liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means (independent of any contractual advance payment) sufficient to meet the cash flow requirement of US$ 1, 800, 000 (US$ One Million Eight Hundred Thousand) for lot I and US$ 900, 000 (US$ Nine Hundred Thousand) for Lot II.
