TheCooperative Republic of Guyana has received financing from the World Banktoward the cost of the University of Guyana Science and Technology SupportProject, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under thecontract for: Procurement of Contractor(s) for Civil Works at the University ofGuyana: Lot1? Faculties of Agriculture and Forestry and TechnologyLot2? Faculty of Natural Sciences and School of Earth and EnvironmentalSciences 2. TheUniversity of Guyana Science and Technology Support Project now invites sealedbids from eligible bidders for the rehabilitation and improvement of buildingsin the four science faculties on the campus by improving the physicalaccommodation and supporting infrastructure to allow for teaching andbasicresearch.
The spatial rehabilitation would include new floor surfaces, newcupboards, new potable and waste water systems, new electrical distribution, new lighting, new air conditioning, newfurniture, new scientific and multimedia equipment, etc. It would also addressthe repair, restoration and renovation of the existing buildings in theirentirety.
The Construction period is scheduled for twelve (12) months.3.
