This international bidding notice was announced under the General Procurement notice advertised for this project published in Development Business Online, edition IDB1860-12/15 of December 23, 2015.
The Republic of Suriname has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the project Procurement of Distribution Materials for Substations Boma and E.
The EBS now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the delivery of distribution materials. The delivery period is 5-8 months.
Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the InterAmerican Development Bank-s Policies for Procurement of Works and Goods financed by the Inter-American Development Bank GN 2349-15 (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the policies.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the EBS and request an electronic copy of the bidding documents from the Program Executing Unit (PEU) on the submission of a written application to idb.projects@ebs.sr. The documents will thereafter be sent electronically. Clarifications to bidding documents may be requested to ultimately 21 days prior to the deadline for submission of bids.
All bids must be delivered to the address below on Friday, 24th April 2020 before 12:00 PM (GMT 15:00). All
Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Securing Declaration”. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. The bids will be opened o n Friday, 24th April 2020 at 12:05 PM (GMT 15:05), in the presence of bidders- representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected.
