Wild card SSL server certificate Technical Specification: Wild card SSL server certificate with a validity period of Two (2) years for the epss.gov.et domain and all its subdomains to create a private secure connection between clients (like web browsers) and servers, including web servers, mail servers, FTP servers, etc. with 256-bit SSL encryption. EPSS has several subdomains in the Internet and Intranet, hosted in different hardware, using different web/application servers like Apache, IIS, Web logic, and Tomcat running on Operating Systems like Windows & and Linux. Wild card SSL certificate Features/Requirements: The * (wildcard) SSL should allow the certificate to be used on multi subdomain belonging to the epss.gov.et domain name i.e. fiori-dev.epss.gov.et, fiori.epss.gov.et, etc with the following features: 1) Secure any subdomain (Internet & Intranet) with an SSL Certificate. 2) Organization and Domain Validation. 3) Organization and Domain Name shown on Certificate. 4) Compatible with different servers, including but not limited to Apache, Microsoft IIS, Tomcat, and Microsoft Exchange Server, running with Linux, Windows, or any other operating system. 5) Should have an encryption strength of 256-bit. 6) SSL Certificate should use an RSA Public Key of at least 2048 bits. 7) 99% browser compatibility, including but not limited to IE 5+, Chrome 3+, Opera 7+, Safari, and Firefox 1+. 8) Strong Mobile compatibility, including but not limited to Android, Windows Phone, App...
