The Government of Grenada (GoG) has entered into financing arrangements with the World Bank, the proceeds of which will beallocated towards the financing of the Regional Disaster Vulnerability Reduction Project (RDVRP).

TheSupport from Pilot Program forClimate Resilience (PPCR) and World Bank under the RDVRP is aimed at providing Grenada with financialand technical assistance to reduce vulnerability to natural hazards and climate change impacts. Among the specific aims of theproject are the goals to integrate disaster vulnerability reduction and climate resilience in national development strategies andmanagement of public infrastructure. Among the activities planned under the project is the establishment ofgeodetic quality benchmarks, to monitor coastalsubsidence, the creation of a large scale digital elevation (DEM) and bathymetric (BAT) models, the development of hydrologicalmodels to analyze water flow, drainage management, flood control and support land planning activities. Under the project, the GoG is seeking the servicesof a qualifiedConsultant to develop termsof reference for a geodetic survey and subsequentlysupervise the geodetic survey. SERVICES REQUIREDThe Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Forestry, Fisheries and theEnvironment, through the Lands and Survey Department, seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant to provide technical services to the Ministryin the development of the Terms of Reference for a Surveying Firm (hereinafter called the Contractor) to undertake geodetic surveys of Grenada to facilitate the use of accurate control in theacquisition ofspatial data across the islands of Grenada.
