Tender are invited for Powered Air Purifying Respirator
Tender Details SCOPE
This Invitation to Tender is for the supply, delivery and training of seven (7) Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) Kits on behalf of the Office of the Fire Marshall.
SPECIFICATIONS
-The proposed Air Purifying Respirator (APR) system MUST consist of a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) system.
-The proposed Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) MUST be designed, tested and approved to filter particulates, vapours, and gases.
-The PAPR MUST include audible, visual and vibratory alarms indicating when the filter must be changed, and a low battery charge-level remains.
-The PAPR MUST be capable of automatically adjusting the airflow to compensate for filter loading.
-Filter cartridges MUST be designed and approved for Multi-Gas (MG) / High-Efficiency (HE) particulate filter including protection against:
- Ammonia
- Organic vapours
- Chlorine
- Chlorine dioxide
- Hydrogen chloride
- Hydrogen fluoride
- Mercury
- Methylamine
- Sulfur dioxide
- Particulates
-Filter cartridges MUST be easily accessible and readily available from various suppliers within the Province of New Brunswick.
-The PAPR MUST include a batteries with a minimum run time capacity of eight (8) hours per battery.
