The project is financed by a loan from the World Bank, and the implementing body is the Ministry of Science, Education and young people. The project represents a strategic investment in strengthening research infrastructure of national importance in the field of STEM, especially biotechnical sciences, forestry and the environment. In Jastrebarski, the central research infrastructure of Hrvatski is being improved of the Forestry Institute, which acts as a national center for applied research, development and innovation in the field of forestry technologies. The goal of the project is to equip the newly built and reconstructed premises of the Institute with modern scientific, technical and accompanying equipment and procurement of portable equipment.
