Tender Details

The purpose of this Contract is to provide Qatar Museums, hereinafter referred to in this Agreement as “Qatar Museums, ” with the services of translators and library coordinators. Introduction: Library coordinators and translators form an integral part of the operations of Qatar Museums and its affiliated entities. The outsourced library coordinators and translators shall perform the duties set out in the detailed Scope of Work. To this end, Qatar Museums seeks to appoint a company with a minimum of eight years of experience, particularly within the museum sector in the Gulf region, the United States of America, or Europe, in accordance with the required Scope of Work. The company shall provide personnel for library coordination and translation services under a call-off contract for various museums and affiliated entities, including the National Museum of Qatar, the Museum of Islamic Art, the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, Lusail Museum, Qatar Auto Museum, and the Translation Section under the Marketing and Events Department. The Contract aims to provide a minimum of 19 library coordinators and five translators as outsourced personnel across the museums and affiliated entities, in full accordance with the detailed staffing plan. As the nature of the Contract is a call-off arrangement, the Service Provider shall be required to provide additional personnel beyond the numbers stated above whenever formally requested by Qatar Museums. Qatar Museums shall also have the right to reduce the number of personnel whenever necessary.
