Save the Children is working with the Government of Malawi to deliver a $37 million, five-year-long project on Climate Resilient Health and Well-Being for Rural Communities in southern Malawi (CHWBRC), from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2030, in six districts in Southern Malawi - Balaka, Ntcheu, Machinga, Mangochi, Phalombe, and Zomba. The project will directly support 1.7 million Malawian citizens (22% of the population in Southern Malawi). The project has received generous co-financing commitments from GlaxoSmithKline and Foundation S (Sanofi Foundation), in-kind co-financing from the Ministry of Health of Malawi, and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) - totalling over $3m.
