this request for proposal ("rfp") is an invitation to prospective proponents to submit proposals for delivery of an online course registration and management solution (the "solution"), including training, ongoing maintenance and customer support services, as further described in part 2 the deliverables.
the university is open to all types of solutions that meet the requirements outlined herein, including solutions that are commercial off-the-shelf ("cots"), customized or a combination of the two.
the solution required must automate the following functions:
-c online course registration and payment
-c client account set up and client behaviour tracking
-c automated email communications and confirmations
-c data mining
-c reporting
-c certificate generation
-c promo code management
-c cancellations and reimbursements, etc
the university intends to award a contract to one (1) proponent for the systems and services for a term of three (3) years. the contract will be signed around early june, 2015.
mandatory requirements are as follows:
-c the solution must be bilingual as described in the rfp;
-c the solution must meet the integration requirements (banner gurfeed, caledon e-commerce system and drupal 7 unless an alternative cms is proposed); and
-c the solution must meet the security requirements described in the rfp.
