The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, located at 5342 Dudley Blvd.Bldg.209, McClellan Park, CA 95652 2609 is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industrycontractors of the Government s intent to execute a Sole Source Award under FAR Part 13 SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures (SAP), specifically FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for CertainCommercial Items.The intended Contractor is Access Information Management Corporation, located at 500 Unicorn ParkDrive, Suite 503, Woburn, MA 01801The VA Northern California Healthcare System (VANCHS) requires medical records scanning, indexing, and storage from a National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Approved Commercial RecordsStorage Facility. This facility must be maintained by NARA Standards in accordance with 36 CFR 1220and 36 CFR 1234, as well as be in compliance with all other Federal Records and Privacy Acts. Thevendor is required to work with both paper patient medical records and electronic records through theVANCHCS health records management system (VISTA).This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12 andFAR Part 13, specifically FAR Subpart13.106 1(b)(1)(i) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicitfrom one source.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is, 518210 ComputingInfrastructure Providers, Data Processing, Web Hosting, and Related Services.
