The nrc intends to noncompetitively procure maintenance for the nrc's two (2) custom federal visitor registration kiosks with integrated security technologies, inc.; 520 herndon parkway, suite c;
herndon, va 20170
the procurement of the maintenance from integrated security technologies allows the nrc to
continue to operate federal visitor registration kiosks. The nrc requires vendor support and confirmed that integrated security technologies does not have any resellers. These kiosks have been tested, secured and are an integral part of the nrc's current enterprise architecture and technical reference model. They are also component of the nrc's overall identity, credential, and access management (icam) program.
The kiosks are custom and maintenance must be provided by the manufacturer. Even if other vendors could
currently meet the nrc's requirements, the nrc does not currently intend to replace its investment in the
integrated security technologies kiosks. To do so would cause the nrc to incur significant additional cost, would
be highly disruptive and would introduce significant risk to the nrc. Standards for agency software toolsets are established and maintained for several years to maximize the return on those investments and to minimize
disruption to agency operations.
This noncompetitive acquisition is conducted under the authority of far 13.106-1(b). Only one source reasonably available.
