Description
This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR 5.203. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce that Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract and subsequent modifications on a sole-source basis to Strategic Robotic Systems, Inc. (SRS) (Cage: 7RJS5) 18394 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA 98052. The requirement is to provide program management, systems engineering, configuration management, sustainment engineering, software support, logistics, and training services for the Fusion platform produced by SRS supporting the Navy's Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Response, Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) program and Maritime Expeditionary Standoff Response (MESR) Program of Record. The EOD Response ROV system represents the next generation of inspection class sized ROVs being fielded to support underwater response missions by naval expeditionary forces. The Government anticipates the resulting contract to have a one (1) year period of performance beginning on/around 01 March 2023. The Government estimates the effort (total contract value) to be between $1M and $5M. The applicable NAICS Code is 334220 and the business size standard is 1, 250 employees. The applicable Product Service Code is AD25 - Operational Systems Development.The Government intends to negotiate solely with SRS under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 and FAR Part 13.5, as further prescribed in FAR 6.302-1 - "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
