The clement j. Zablocki va medical center located in milwaukee, wi has a need for (20) neuromuscular block agent (nmba) monitors and nerve locator functionality in the anesthesiology division. This device measures anesthesia-induced neuromuscular blockage during the perioperative state (pre-operative, operative, post-operative, and recovery). Neuromuscular blockage is routinely measured to monitor the anesthetic depth of the patient. The device also locates nerves by electrical stimulation. Nerve stimulation is a commonly used method for localizing nerves before the injection of local anesthetic. No installation is required. On-site training is required. Approximately 50 users will need to be trained over a one-week period. A user s manual is required per machine.
