During ordinary controls on motor bogies of the self-propelled trains, wear parts such as monobloc wheels and axles axles must be replaced regularly. To cover the needs of the period from 2024 to 2027, the wheels to be manufactured in an ER8 steel quality are the subject of a market that will be awarded as part of a tender in the open procedure. In accordance with the price table in part 5 of tenders documents, the call for tenders relates to an amount of 2 years as well as a quantity of 4 years (more options). SBB decide, on the basis of prices per full wheel indicated in the price list, if it is more economical to buy a quantity of 2 years or a quantity of 4 years and attribute the market to the overall offer Advantageous according to the evaluation of the award criteria.
