Description : In the framework of the project entitled "Strengthening local capacities to develop resilience through emergency assistance in the area of livelihoods, food security, nutrition, water and protection with vulnerable populations in the departments of Arauca and La Guajira ( migrant population and host families), in Colombia, and food security and nutrition in Lara, Venezuela ", OSRO / RLA / 902 / EC, whose objectiveive is to strengthen food security and the livelihoods of the most vulnerable farmer / pastoralist / farming communities, in response to the declaration of pandemic by COVID-19 since March 2020, FAO intends to use cash transfers to ensure the access to healthy and nutritious food among the most vulnerable households, while increasing their resilience in the face of future crises. In the frameof the cash transfer activities, the program targets Three Hundred Fifty Homes (350 Homes), in Lara state. Cash transfers will be made for three consecutive months after the declaration of a national emergency and a curfew under the threat of a pandemic. The distribution of beneficiaries and the amounts presented in the following table may be subject to certain contextual changes.
