This gap is particularly acute for youthand women in the region, where participation in digital sectors remainslow. Current upskilling efforts often lack data-backed alignment with labor marketdemand, risking inefficient investments and missed opportunities.Tobridge this gap, the World Bank will conduct a market-driven assessment ofdigital skills demand and supply in selected MENA countries (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Lebanon), with a focus on improving employability for youth (ages17-25) and women.
