Measuring services for energy connections The Municipality of The Hague has the obligation to appoint a metering manager, or a Metering Company, for measuring energy consumption for its own energy connections that fall into the large-scale consumption segment. (electricity and gas) via an energy meter, the Metering Company and therefore the metering services concern the rental and installation of the energy meters, the collection, management, maintenance, validation and distribution of metering data, including towards the energy supplier and grid operator.
