Assignment Description
The International Finance Corporation`s (IFC) Financial Institution Group advisory team is looking to hire a firm to conduct an in- depth market study of the refugee access to finance landscape in Egypt to identify potential opportunities for increasing financial inclusion of refugees, with focus on Syrian refugees, in the country. The final market study will be a report sizing and mapping the refugee population in Egypt, quantifying their demand for financial services and non-financial services, barriers of access to finance and non-financial services, and the possible implications for key stakeholders such as government policy makers, banks and non-bank financial institutions. It will also identify opportunities, relevant financial and non-financial service solutions, and potential leads that IFC can pursue.
