SCOPE OF WORK -
The consultant is expected to critically assess GIPF-s position in the market with regard to its products and service
offerings. The comparative analysis should include pension benefits, contribution levels, replacement ratios, funding
levels, member value positioning, and other relevant areas such as contingent reserves, cost-to-serve ratios, assets
under management, national foot print, governance structure, and investment philosophy.
The GIPF now invites eligible consultants/firms who wish to provide this service. Interested consultants should
provide information indicating relevant experience, knowledge and proven capacity as well as track record in
conducting research of similar magnitude. Actuarial skills and experience in benefit scheme analysis will be an
added advantage.
