Description : The Corporation of the District of North Vancouver (the Owner) invites tenders for ITT-014-23, Marion Pump Station Electrical Upgrade Construction. The existing water pump station is located next to 4395 Rice Lake Road in North Vancouver. The Owner intends to upgrade all existing electrical and mechanical equipment inside the pump station building. Marion Pump Station has three (3) multi-stage vertical turbine pumps each complete with direct suction piping. The pumps are fed from Metro Vancouver-s Seymour Main No. 2 via the existing 500 and 450mm diameter steel supply mains. The pump station supplies water to Ramsay Reservoir and feeds Pressure Zone P-2 simultaneously. This Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Decommissioning, removal and disposal of the District-owned transformers, Motor Control Centre, control panel, pumps, piping, fittings and valves; Supply and installation of new Motor Control Centre, Variable Frequency Drives, Power Distribution Centre, control panel, pumps, motors, piping and fittings; Supply and installation of new BC Hydro Pad Mounted Transformer, service vault, meter box, standby diesel generator, concrete pads and retaining walls; Supply and installation of new HVAC, lighting, fencing, handrails and pa...
