Argyll and Bute Council owns and maintains a variety of marine infrastructure throughout Argyll and the Islands.These vary from major roll-on/roll-off (RO/RO) terminals to remote slipways. They vary in construction from large and complex concrete piled or sheet piled structures to traditional open timber piers and concrete slipways.We seek to arrange a framework with experienced contractors to assist in our marine asset maintenance. This is anticipated to involve carrying out appropriate inspections and repairs to the infrastructure as required along with a facility to manage emergency repairs.
