The cfpb has a need for geocoding api that allows for forward and reverse permanent geocoding for map coordinates, the ability to create tiled maps that overlap each other, allows the user total control over the creation of the map, and allows the users to store its created maps and embed them on the cfpb webpage. Cfpb policies require an open source solution and prohibit advertisements.
This service will support the mission of the cfpb by providing the necessary permanent geocodes for the hud counselor locator tool and other similar tools on cfpb webpages.
Through market research it was determined that mapbox is the only known geocoding tool that can meet the government's needs as mapbox allows the user to have total control over the creation of the map, allows the users to store its created maps and embed them on the cfpb webpage, allows for forward and reverse permanent geocoding for map coordinates, and has the ability to create tiled maps that overlap each other.
No solicitation is available. A request for more information, or a copy of the solicitation, will not be considered an affirmative response to this special notice. Telephone responses or inquiries to this special notice will not be accepted.
Cfpb will consider written responses received no later than 15:00 (3:00 pm est) february 19, 2019. Responses must be submitted electronically to [email protected] and [email protected], attn: 9531cb19p0009. Responses must include sufficient evidence that clearly shows the vendor is capable of providing the requested requirement. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates an ability to meet all requirements, is more advantageous to the government, and is received by the aforementioned deadline, cfbp shall make award on a sole source basis to mapbox of washington dc.
