JUSTIFICATION OF PURCHASE NEED. The installation of a metal fence in the territory of the Anykščiai Arboretum is necessary in order to protect the fields of forest plantations from damage caused by wild animals. It is planned to fence an area about 1700 m long, using part of the existing concrete fence posts. The installation of the fence will include the installation of wire mesh and tension wire and the installation of two 5m wide gates. Since the existing concrete pillars in some of the fence sections are non-standard, it is necessary to assess their condition, stability and suitability before carrying out the work, and if necessary, foresee their reinforcement or other necessary works. The installed fence will ensure reliable and long-term protection of the plantation fields of the nursery and create suitable conditions for the cultivation of plantations.
