Water supply line construction Gas & water connection line construction Gas supply line construction The subject of the procurement is the awarding of pipeline construction work on the gas and water infrastructures in the IWB supply area. Supply line construction Water: Water temporary devices To ensure the drinking water supply during the construction phase, temporary water connections are created in individual projects. The trunk line of the temporary provision is made of polyethylene pipes and is used with tapping clamps fed in from the existing water network. Basically, the existing connection lines on Allmend are connected from the main line using a tapping clamp and a hose. If the connection cannot be made to Allmend, the hose is connected directly to the Water meter connected. The water meters must be left in the property and, if possible, not removed. Only hoses provided by IWB with valid SVGW and KTW approval may be used. The hoses are from the IWB, provided free of charge, must be ordered at least 24 hours before installation and installed within 48 hours in order to meet hygienic requirements. The polyethylene pipes for the trunk lines may not be reused become. The temporary device must be dismantled promptly after an appointment has been made or requested by IWB and the hoses must be returned to IWB.
