Late bids or amendments will be considered non-responsive and will not be opened or accepted for evaluation.The Department of Public Safety (“DPS”), Aircraft Section is soliciting bids for maintenance providers on DPS turbine helicopter maintenance (currently Airbus H125 (Eurocopter AS350 B3)). The work under this contract will be performed primarily in Anchorage, Alaska. The Contractor must also be able to travel statewide, excluding Fairbanks, to provide off-site or emergency avionics maintenance on an as-needed basis.The DPS is a full-service State police organization which conducts both law enforcement and wildlife enforcement duties across the entirety of the State of Alaska. Because of the vast spans of wilderness in the last frontier separates 82% of our communities from the road system, this creates a challenge totally unique to our State.
