Object of the contract
The City of Amsterdam is building the next few years a large number of indoor bicycle parking. The operation of the stables starts from the 1st 24 hours free, then paid, and in 2015 based on "receipts" that are to take the wheel. When bicycle parking at railway stations, the step is made to the smart card input and checkouts of the NS, i?1/2as it is now also used in inter alia the garage Jaarbeursplein in Utrecht. With this system it is possible to charge customers for the parking, and in combination with a bicycle detection / HBF there can be maintained for a prolonged time parked bicycles and are referred to blanks. Investigated whether a similar imports and checkouts can also Wedrden used in garages at the underground stations and garages in the city where it is also possible in addition to the smart card, check in and check out with other means of identification such as bank card and phone. By extension, the municipality also wants to examine the feasibility, affordability, and ease of use benefits of the applicablesen of an identification means (chip) on the bicycle instead of an ID that is associated with the user. For practicality, affordability, and ease of use benefits of using a chip to bike to test wants the municipality of Amsterdam in mid-2016 launch a tender for a pilot project based on the concept of chip park. The intendedlocation for the pilot, the existing Zuidplein Yards in Amsterdam Zuid.
