Tender Details

The objective of this assignment is to: (a) conduct a high-level, desk-based estimation of GHG (CO2 and methane) emissions from oil and gas valuechain operations, (b) identify applicable levers for carbon abatement measures, including energy efficiency improvements, abatement of CO2 emissions and CH4(methane) venting and leakages, flaring reduction, electrification andintegration of renewable energy (RE) options in O&G operations, integrationof low-carbon power & heat and CCS opportunities to reduce the carbonintensity of oil & gas production; (c) provide estimates of abatement costsand assess the economic and commercial feasibility of applicable solutions, (d)produce an indicative prioritized, sequenced, short- to medium term Action Planproposal for decarbonization of O&G operations, and (e) produce aprioritized, sequenced short- to medium term action plan proposal forimplementation of an oil and gas sector decarbonization policy and regulatoryframework for sustained carbon abatement action and investment along the oiland gas value chain.
