ID card for access and login to the healthcare institutions in Helse Vest The purpose of the procurement is to acquire smart cards that will function as a common platform for both physical access and digital authentication and must therefore be delivered in accordance with appendix 2 Customer's requirement specifications. At the start of the agreement period, the customer aims to carry out a transition to new card technology in the region in connection with the rollout of a new login solution. The stated scope and value are therefore an estimate for information to the tenderer, and reservations are made regarding both increases and decreases in volume for the various card types offered throughout the contract period. Estimated volume per year appears in Appendix 1 Price form. The ID card must be used in the healthcare system and be suitable for: • Secure identification of employees • Physical access control • Strong, password-less authentication to IT systems • Use Buypass ID for authentication and signing in various external applications. • Use against additional equipment such as electronic key lockers, laundry machines, etc. The card must support the health sector's requirements for safety, accessibility, hygiene and operational reliability. Furthermore, the agreement must take account of new areas of use, technologies and safety requirements so that this can be put into use within the agreement period, without the need for a new competition, so as far as this is compatible with the procurement regulations.
