Country: Papua New Guinea Description of the Assignment: The objectives of this consultancy role are as follow: Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) in formulating, Facilitating and mainstreaming the Climate Change Vulnerability Adaptation Plans (CCVAPs) into the LLG, District and Provincial Development Plans.Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) on SGF applications and Investment PlansConduct Training of Trainers (ToT) on Gender-Responsive Disaster Response Strategies (DRS) and Emergency Response Plans (ERP).Establishment of trained disaster management committees and completion reports (one for each LLG).Completion report for all approved subprojects (21 islands communities). Final sustainability report detailing long-term plans to sustain project progress and maintain infrastructure. v Period of assignment/services: The consultancy will be over a duration of 100 days over the period of 5 months.
