hwy 361-12 reconstruction
sealed envelopes containing bids clearly marked "construction of a select subgrade structure on highway no. 361-12 from the junction of highway no. 8 to the junction of highway no. 318; for a total distance of 16.41 km." and addressed to the r. m. of reciprocity no. 32 shall be received at the office of the rural municipality of reciprocity no. 32 p.o. box 70 alida, sk s0c 0b0 before 2:00 p.m., central standard time, feb 20, 2019.
the work generally comprises converting the existing highway into supergrid standards for a length of 16.41 km. the work includes clearing, fence removal and replacement, removal and replacement of culverts, subgrade preparation of the existing surface (depth 150 mm), select subgrade surface course (clay capping) 500 mm thick, incorporating traffic gravel, mixing to a depth of 200 mm and finishing with traffic gravel surfacing.
bids should be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable to the r. m. of reciprocity no. 32. failure to provide bid guaranty will be a factor taken into account when awarding the contract.
