Hiring a Bim Specialist (Bim Capacity) Description: Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland uses the BIM methodology (Building Information Management) within projects and implementation to manage and exchange asset data. The asset data is stored for a period of time projects and maintenance work and is essential for the management and maintenance of the primary assets. The Maintenance Business Office (BBO) is responsible for the coordination and management of this asset data. The question has been in recent years However, BIM capacity within projects has increased more strongly than the available supply of internal and external capacity. This creates a bottleneck in the timely and complete availability of asset data. This leads to risks for: quality and completeness of asset information; the functioning of management and maintenance processes; the continuity of projects; safety during implementation and use of assets. 2. Purpose of the assignment The purpose of the assignment is to ensure sufficient BIM capacity for the purpose of: Checking and combining BIM models and asset data into one coherent whole for management and maintenance. Coordinate with external BIM coordinators on the quality and usability of supplied models and data. Developing and managing fixed models, objects and agreements so that external parties work in the same way. improving the quality, completeness and transferability of asset information for management and maintenance. The aim is: continuity of ongoing and guarantee new projects; mitigate risks of loss or incompleteness of asset data; to realize a consistent application of BIM within Rijnland. 3.
