Heritage monitor Limburg Monitoring national monuments in accordance with national agreements Since 2016, all provinces and the Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) have been working on monitoring national monuments. This one cooperation is aimed at achieving a joint data source for data about the physical condition of national monuments and to making (digital) accessible and (digital) unlocking of (this) information. In line with administrative agreements created in 2016 is every province responsible for carrying out periodic monitoring within its own territory. This means that the Province of Limburg is obliged to inspect all built national monuments (being non-residential houses) in Limburg every four years. have them assessed state of maintenance, vacancy and repurposing. The data resulting from the periodic monitoring must be the Province of Limburg agreement with a concluded cooperation agreement with the RCE.
