Tender are invited for Help desk specialist - Operate and monitor IBM Mainframe 2096/zOS computer consoles and devices for all systems located in the Data Center which includes : operating IBM mainframe peripheral equipment to process work; mounting tapes; starting up systems and jobs; making necessary Job Control Language (JCL) changes; make necessary adjustments or changes to the daily production job schedule via TIVOLI job scheduler; entering required responses to system prompts and programs via TSO and MVS; monitoring progress and output of production jobs; execute recovery procedures as needed and distributing reports. - Monitor all MBTA network activities and initiate problem resolution when necessary.
Notes : This is a 1 year contract with extension consideration.
