HEARING: Tender - Emptying of gutter wells in Esbjerg Municipality Tender hearing - Emptying of gutter wells in Esbjerg Municipality. Esbjerg Municipality hereby sends the tender material regarding the emptying of gutter wells, line drains, seepage wells and sand traps in public hearing. The agreement includes operation and maintenance of road drainage systems on public roads, paths, squares, parking lots and tunnels throughout the municipality. The contract is expected to enter into force on 1 January 2027 with a term of 6 years. The task includes among other approx. 15, 000 gutter wells on the overall road network, approx. 18, 700 wells on residential roads as well as path wells, line drains, sand traps and seepage wells. The emptyings are carried out with different frequencies depending on the road type and area, just as the agreement contains an option for extra and emergency emptying if necessary. Among other things, demands are made for: Thorough emptying and cleaning so that the drainage systems work as intended. Digital registration and documentation of all emptying carried out in the municipality's GIS system. Control of the function of the wells and reporting of damage and faults. Quick response to urgent tasks with round-the-clock availability. Traffic-safe execution of the work with correct markings and trained personnel. Environmentally correct handling and disposal of absorbed material. Ongoing quality assurance through self-inspection and the municipality's sample checks.
