Banedanmark has a GPS tracking system, which is used in part to streamline processes around the localization of rolling stock, service vehicles and other equipment and at the same time optimize the creation of log book data for service vehicles and operating hours account/log book for motorized rolling stockaterial. In addition, the system is used to reduce unauthorized and unannounced use of Banedanmark's equipment.

Banedanmark's current contract for a GPS tracking system will expire soon, which is why Banedanmark wants to purchase a GPS tracking system to support the same purpose with this tender.about today as well as implementation, operation, maintenance, support, adaptation/development of what is offered as well as advice. In addition, the equipment must be replaced, so Banedanmark wants to purchase new associated equipment (GPSs) for all the equipment.

The system must be able to support the use of different types of e.grolling stock ("rolling stock", "service vehicles" and "other stock"), and the stock must be equipped with mobile devices (consisting of a GPS unit, battery and ID card) that continuously send messages via the GSM network to the central GPS tracking system. The central system must be supplied with a rapporouting solution, an administration interface, a graphical interface that can show the position of the material on a map and an interface aimed at technicians using a mobile device.
