Description : Project Scope TB+A were engaged to develop the brief with the Trust and prepare a performance specification for the project to be procured on a design and build basis Ward 6 is located at level two of Block 39 and since the outbreak of Covid-19, this ward has been misused as an eight bed Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU) which has no IPS or UPS provision. This clinical area is defined at a HTM06-01 clinical risk A area, with BS7671 Chapter 710 medical locations classification of a Group 2 area. Recent generator tests have identified to the Trust ESG that this area is non-compliant with recommendations of HTM06-01 and is to be urgently addressed.
