Description : Garden Hill First Nation (GHFN) is seeking Proposals from water treatment equipment Suppliers for the supply of a new water treatment system to service their community. Garden Hill First Nation is located in the Island Lake region of Northern Manitoba, on the shores of Island Lake, approximately 300km South East of Thompson, Manitoba. The Community is accessible year-round by air, but is only accessible by road during the winter road months. The Project Management Team (PMT) includes representatives of the Owner (GHFN), the Professional Project Manager (P. M.Associates Ltd.) and the Engineer and Contract Administrator (Neegan Burnside Ltd.). The Project will include the following main works: Design and Fabrication of water treatment equipment system including the following components: Conventional Treatment system Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Clarifier Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Treatment unit Delivery to the General Contractor awarded the overall water treatment plant construction. Installation of the water treatment equipment including coordinating works with the General Contractor.
