Framework agreement for the purchase of steel products
The Norwegian Water and Sewerage Agency (VAV) supplies the capital with drinking water and handles the waste water. The business is financed through water and sewage charges. The agency is responsible for operation, maintenance and renewal of the city's treatment plant as well as pipelines and pumping stations for both drinking water and waste water. The agency also covers Oslo's share of the costs of the inter-municipal Vestfjorden Avløpsselskap (VEAS). Other key tasks are management of water source areas, watercourse supervision of the watercourses in the city, guidance and information to customers, subscribers and society at large. VAV plans to procure a framework agreement for the purchase of steel products. In connection with planning the acquisition, VAV wants feedback/input from the market. The framework agreement includes the purchase of steel products such as reinforcing mats, rebar (also cut and bent according to various bending strips), flat steel, square steel, angle steel, round steel, HAE beams, hollow profiles, IPE beams, sheet steel, UNP channel steel, steel plates, door hinge plates, etc. It is planned that the framework agreement will last a total of 8 years.
