Framework agreement for carpentry services for municipal buildings and structures
The need applies to work on municipal buildings, municipal rental housing and others municipal facilities. The municipality currently uses local carpentry services to varying extents, normally within an annual level of approximately NOK 0.1 to 1 million, but the need can fluctuate and there is no basis for determining any binding volume. The background for the need is a particular desire for consistent quality, flexibility capacity in case of varying demand, good interaction with municipal units and faster response when smaller assignments arise. The municipality points to a lack of capacity and that it may be difficult to get a quick response today. For some areas, the client himself has the competence to carry out work, and such assignments shall not be covered by this need. Pure merchandise purchases are also not covered. Scope of the need The need includes carpentry services linked to smaller new builds, conversions, improvement and maintenance of existing buildings. The services will primarily cover minor maintenance work, less new construction on municipal buildings and remodeling and improvement work. The municipality needs the supplier to be able to handle both stand-alone smaller assignments and ongoing tasks that arise in day-to-day operations.
