Framework agreement on building security for the Danish police This tender includes support and maintenance of building security for the police's existing locations. Well-functioning security systems are absolutely essential for the police to carry out their operational tasks 24/7, and to protect the critical infrastructure consisting of, among other things, IT equipment as well as the protection of the police's sensitive information in specially secured areas, which range from securing physical weapons rooms to advanced data centers. The National Police therefore has need a supplier who must assist with support and maintenance of the daily operation of set-up and fully configured devices for access control (ADK), station alarms (AIA), camera surveillance (TVO), fire alarms (ABA), door phones etc. on the police locations. Police locations include office buildings and police stations with and without detentions, waiting rooms, interrogation rooms and weapons rooms. The offer is expected to include approx. 170 locations of varying size distributed over most of Denmark. There has to be however, in Greenland and the Faroe Islands, online support could be provided via the police network and telephone assistance to a local technician. There are reported approx. 2000 incidents per year.
