Construction of purpose-built walk-in cold store capable of storing all frozen forensic material in a safe and secure environment. The construction shall allow for access for a refrigerated vehicle. The Authority is seeking a supplier that is able to supply and install two bespoke walk-in cold room/holding freezers, into an existing stand alone warehouse on the Essex Police HQ site, for storing forensic materials. The room should be bid enough for a refrigerated vehicle to access. Freezers shall be approx 10m x 4m x 2.75m operating at -20 degrees (+/- 2 degrees). Supplier to undertake electrical alterations to support power and data requirements (electrical design spec will be provided). Testing and commissioning of freezer installation and electrical installations.
